Social Skills

At Crespo Elementary our students are taught social skills through Project CLASS (Children Learning Appropriate Social Skills) Project CLASS improves children’s behavior, focus on attention, learning readiness and relationships.  Children with these skills are more likely to learn and succeed.

Character Education

Early Act First Knight® (or EAFK) is a character-building learning program for elementary and middle schools from Knights of The Guild. Sponsored by Rotary Clubs, EAFK motivates and educates children of all backgrounds to become civil, service-oriented people during their most formative years. Every six weeks, we focus on specific character traits such as Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Acceptance, Perseverance, and Kindness.  Every class will teach each trait and later select one student that exemplifies that trait.  Parents of those students are invited to the EAFK ceremony to celebrate their child.  Selected fifth grade students are knighted.
